Planning An Event In Lake Elsinore? The City Just Launched A Platform To Streamline Permitting

The city is rolling out Eproval, a cloud-based system that simplifies the special event permitting process for organizers and staff.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Event organizers planning to host festivals, parades or community gatherings in Lake Elsinore will now find the process a little easier, the city said Thursday.

The city’s Special Events Division has officially launched Eproval, a new online platform designed to modernize and streamline how special event permits are managed.

The cloud-based system aims to simplify one of the most complex tasks local governments face: coordinating multiple departments for event approval. Permitting often involves securing fire inspections, health permits, security plans, and street closure approvals — all of which can now be handled within one digital portal.

“Eproval transforms how we manage special events in Lake Elsinore,” said Johnathan Skinner, the city’s director of recreation. “This new system allows us to better serve our community and event organizers by creating a faster, more transparent, and efficient permitting process.”

According to city officials, Eproval will help centralize all applications in one easy-to-use system, improve interdepartmental communication, and ensure compliance with city standards. The tool also enhances transparency for applicants, allowing them to track their submissions and review progress in real time.
