Police Looking Into Possible Kidnapping In RivCo Parking Lot
Investigators are working to determine what happened in the parking lot.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Police Thursday were investigating a possible kidnapping in a Starbucks parking lot in Riverside.
The incident was reported at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday in a shopping center on the corner of Arlington and Brockton avenues, according to Riverside police Officer Ryan Railsback.
At least one witness told police that a young man who appeared to about 18 years old jumped out of a parked van and was followed by two other men who forcibly put him back into the vehicle, Railsback said.

The van, described only as dark or silver, was then seen being driven away.
Investigators gathered evidence at the scene and were trying to determine whether surveillance video may have captured the scene in order to establish whether a kidnapping occurred, according to Railsback.
