Riverside Man Accused Of Assaulting Girl At Unlicensed Daycare
Police said Hubert David Edgin, 49, of Riverside, may have had contact with other children through his church and other activities.

RIVERSIDE, CA -- A Riverside County man who operated an unlicensed daycare from his home was arrested Friday for allegedly assaulting a minor. Police said Hubert David Edgin, 49, of Riverside, may have had contact with other children through his church and other activities.
Edgin was arrested after Riverside detectives investigated allegations that he sexually assaulted the child who is under the age of 10 and had attended his daycare for two years. The abuse continued up until recently when the victim told her family about the allegations, Riverside police said.
Detectives arrested Edgin at his residence in the 3400 block of Sun Court in the Eastside neighborhood of Riverside, and later booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center. Edgin is still in custody with bail set at $1 million.
