Singer D4vd Is Suspect In Death Of Lake Elsinore Girl Found Dismembered In His Tesla: Reports
The singer D4vd has been identified as a suspect in the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, 15.

The singer D4vd has been identified as a suspect in the death of the 15-year-old Lake Elsinore girl whose decomposing body was found in a car he owned in September, according to reports.
Celeste Rivas Hernandez's body was found inside the front trunk of a Tesla — registered in Texas to the singer D4vd — on Sept. 8 at a Hollywood tow yard, according to authorities. Celeste, then 13, was reported as a runaway in April 2024 from Lake Elsinore.
The Tesla had been abandoned near a home on Doheny Place in the Hollywood Hills, not far from a home where the singer — whose real name is David Anthony Burke — had lived.

Law enforcement sources told NBC Los Angeles and TMZ that Burke has been identified as a suspect. No arrests have been made.
The source told NBC LA that Burke has not been cooperative in the investigation. The source said Celeste's death likely occurred in the spring and Burke likely had help in dismembering and disposing of her body, NBC LA reported.

Celeste was born on Sept. 7, 2010 — her body was found the day after her 15th birthday, the Los Angeles Times reported.
TMZ previously reported that the girl's mother confirmed Celeste had a tattoo of the word "Shhh..." on her finger, a detail noted in the Medical Examiner's report. She also said her daughter's boyfriend was named "David." The singer has a similar tattoo.
The county medical examiner has not yet released a cause of the teen's death.
Burke was on the last leg of a U.S. tour when Celeste's body was discovered. Several shows were canceled, including one that had been scheduled at Los Angeles' Greek Theatre.
According to various reports, his label, Interscope Records, has halted all promotion of Burke's latest record, "Withered."
