A 17-year-old is accused of attempted murder after investigators allege he fired a gun during an argument between two groups in Norco.
NORCO, CA — A Jurupa Valley teen arrested this week is accused of firing a gun several times during an argument following a high school football game in Norco last Friday, according to authorities.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Office said deputies arrived on the 1800 block of Hamner Avenue a few minutes before 10 p.m. to investigate reports of gunshots in the area. Deputies soon learned more than 200 people were gathered in the area after the football game ended.
At some point, investigators said two groups got into an altercation and a male suspect fired multiple shots. No injuries were reported, and the suspect ran from the area before law enforcement arrived.
