Teens Suspected In Retail Thefts Across LA, Orange, Riverside Counties
The two teens were booked into Riverside County jail on suspicion of grand theft and organized retail theft.
PERRIS, CA — Two teenagers who allegedly ripped off Riverside County businesses are linked to similar thefts in Los Angeles and Orange counties, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Nicole Barrios, 19, of Rancho Cucamonga, and Andres Mora, 18, of Ontario, were arrested Nov. 14 after they were pulled over by police in Hemet.
According to the sheriff's department, at the time of their arrests, the duo had just pulled off a heist at a business located in Hemet's 2000 block of West Florida Avenue.

The theft followed one committed a day earlier at a business in the 1600 block of North Perris Boulevard in Perris, according to the sheriff's department. In that heist, Barrios and Mora allegedly stole a large amount of beauty products and then fled the area.
The suspects were responsible for "multiple thefts in Los Angeles County, Orange County, and several cities throughout Riverside County, with a combined total of approximately $30,000 in theft of merchandise," according to the sheriff's department.

Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of grand theft and organized retail theft. Jail records show Barrios was released from custody the same day as her arrest. Jail records were unavailable for Mora.
