Missing Wildomar Man Found Safe

WILDOMAR, CA — An at-risk man who went missing after going for a hike in Wildomar was found safe, authorities announced Monday.
Robert Connors, 63, of Wildomar left from the 21000 block of Grand Avenue at about 7:50 a.m. Friday to go for a hike in the surrounding area and did not return, his wife told deputies.
Over the weekend deputies searched for Connors with the help of a helicopter, bloodhound, the Riverside Mountain Rescue Unit and volunteers who lived in the area.
