Alzheimer's Fundraiser Returns To Angel Stadium This Month
The Alzheimer's Orange County's Walk4ALZ and Run4ALZ fundraising event will raise money to help residents dealing with the disease.

IRVINE, CA — Nonprofit organization Alzheimer's Orange County will bring back its annual Walk4ALZ and Run4ALZ fundraising event to Angel Stadium on March 19 after the pandemic forced it to go on a brief hiatus.
There is no cost for walkers to participate in the event, but there is a $30 registration for runners, the Irvine-based nonprofit organization said.
On-site registration starts at 8 a.m., and attendees should arrive at Angel Stadium through Orangewood Avenue.

Jim McAleer, the nonprofit's president, said 100% of the money raised during the event will stay in Orange County to "help the thousands of local residents who are currently affected by Alzheimer’s disease and dementia."
"We invite women, men and children to lace up their shoes and walk or run with us to fight Alzheimer’s," he said.
