IRVINE, CA — Orange County firefighters were hard at work tackling a restaurant fire in Irvine Friday morning.The fire was reported shortly before 7 a.m. in the 4800 block of Irvine Boulevard. Upon arriving, firefighters found a two-story building with a fire burning in the first floor unit. Thanks to a coordinated attack, firefighters confined the morning blaze to the original unit and prevented extensive damage.The cause of the fire was under investigation.
