Announcement: La Mesa and Mount Helix Patch Sites Merging
Mount Helix Patch editor Eric Yates will take over as editor of the merged site. La Mesa Patch editor Ken Stone is named associate regional editor for south, east San Diego County.
You’ve been telling us you’d like more coverage of local issues and local business – and we’ve heard you. We're happy to announce that we've harnessed our resources to more effectively cover La Mesa area communities.
Starting Wednesday, we will introduce LaMesa-MountHelix.Patch.com! It makes more sense to our readers and our local small business owners to offer coverage that extends into both La Mesa and Mount Helix.
Our mission at Patch is “Making life ridiculously easy for you and your neighbors," and that's what we'll continue to do even better with La Mesa-Mount Helix Patch.
Much of the information we were offering was of interest to residents of both communities. Having it all in one place will make it easier for you to keep up with all the goings-on without flipping back and forth between sites.
will take over as editor of the combined site. , who produced an award-winning site as former editor of La Mesa Patch, will assume the new role of associate regional editor for the south San Diego Patches of Santee, Lemon Grove, Imperial Beach, Coronado and Ramona.
Here are some of the exciting benefits this will bring to both communities: All of the businesses will be part of our extensive community directory, called Patch Places. Business owners will continue to be invited to claim their listing – and readers will have a comprehensive resource for finding every business in La Mesa, Mount Helix and the adjacent areas of Casa de Oro and parts of Spring Valley.
We're excited about being able to provide better coverage of the things that matter to residents of all of these communities — which is always something we’re striving to do!
But as always, if you think we're missing anything, let us know.
