Assemblyman Brian Jones ‘Uses Ignorance to Mislead Himself,’ Constituents
Edward Agolia: "How about thinking that mankind shares a responsibility for not putting resources into helping change the dwindling spiral of the environment?"

To the editor:
Assemblyman Brian Jones [Meet the Patch: Assemblyman Jones Backs State Prisons in Other Nations] could do some research into the difference between theory and proven documented scientific peer reviewed research that creates a 30-year trail of now validated scientific evidence. It appears he uses ignorance to mislead himself and his constituents, leading them down the arrogant path he sets for himself and others to follow.
Another misleading statement, “That global warming is manmade.” As if the very idea is impossible. Does this demonstrate the split in his perception between man and the planet he is responsible for?
How about thinking that mankind shares a responsibility for not putting resources into helping change the dwindling spiral of the environment? Investments that only help. His theory ignores that something can be done about our ability to help people and our nation regain its health and stamina.
It is unfortunate that one of our most respected thinking leaders remains uniformed and in the hands of the ones that continue to convince a rational thinking human beings, his fellow Americans, that pollution is really OK.
