Update: Authorities Find Missing Man

Authorities have found an elderly man who went missing Saturday evening from a senior housing facility in Spring Valley, a sheriff's official reported.

Ramon Leggs, 76, was reported missing about 5:30 p.m. from New Brighton Place on Campo Road, but has since been located, according to Sheriff's Sgt. Victor Rivera. Leggs suffers from hypertension, diabetes, dementia and has difficulty walking.

During the search for Leggs, Sheriff's Search and Rescue checked local hospitals, made announcements in the neighborhood and passed out fliers, Rivera said in a released statement.

K-9's, foot patrols, vehicle patrols and four wheel quads also joined in the search for Leggs. 

Leggs was located by the La Mesa Police Department and returned to his home.
