Dog Park to Be Discussed at Spring Valley Citizens Association Meeting

Members of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department will also be on hand to discuss graffiti tracking, e-crimes and more.

The long-proposed will be one of the hot ticket items discussed at the next meeting on Thursday, Nov. 17.

The idea for the dog park has been talked about since last year, in an effort spearheaded by SVCA President Steven Relyea. Multiple community meetings have been held on the topic, each one having gained more support than the one before. Relyea has also had conversations with Supervisor Dianne Jacob in hopes of getting the county to contribute some funds to the park.

Those in the community who support a dog park are encouraged to go online and sign a petition for the park, which can be found at http://www.change.org/petitions/dog-park-in-lamar-park
