Hillers Hold Off Norsemen in Final Seconds to Lift Water Polo Record

Grossmont beat visiting Valhalla 10-9 after leading throughout the match.

Grossmont High School held onto a one-point lead in the final seconds of the boys water polo match against Valhalla High School on Tuesday night, winning 10-9 to raise its league record to 4-1. The Hillers led throughhout the game, but the visiting Norsemen* came back in the last period to threaten. The Foothillers host Granite Hills at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
