Murray Drive ARCO Station Drops Price 4 Cents a Gallon

Rest of stations stay at $3.69 a gallon in latest survey of local fuel prices.

One La Mesa service station lowered its per-gallon price by 4 cents, but gasoline prices remained steady overall this week.

The ARCO station at 9600 Murray Dr. near Grossmont Boulevard was selling self-serve regular Sunday for $3.65, but several other stations have held fast or lowered their price to $3.69, according to GasBuddy.com, which reflects prices within the past 24 hours.

ARCO stations at 4925 Spring St. at Mills Street, 7594 University Ave. and 7974 University are selling regular for $3.69. The Union 76 at 6085 Lake Murray Blvd. also is selling at $3.69.

Other service stations in the city are selling regular gas for at least $3.83.

The average price in San Diego County, $3.819, is 3.3 cents more than
one month ago and 69.3 cents higher than one year ago, according to AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

According to AAA, the state average is $3.816 for regular and $4.010 for premium and the national average has increased to $3.707.
