Hundreds of Little Leaguers and their families turned out on Saturday for the Opening Day of the 2012 Spring Valley Little League season. The games kicked off at 8 a.m. and ran throughout the day, with kids ages 4-16 strutting their stuff on the diamond.

The league features several different age groups and divisions, including: T-Ball, Caps, Minors, Majors, Juniors, Seniors, and Big League. The games this season will be held at , as the fields at the Spring Valley Sports Complex on Sweetwater Road are in the midst of a renovation.
