Suspect Nabbed After Rifle Shooting Incident In North County
A Valley Center man is behind bars on suspicion of "opening fire" at another on Friday. The victim was airlifted to a nearby hospital.

VALLEY CENTER, CA — One person was under arrest in connection with a shooting one week ago at the Rincon Indian Reservation, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Department.
Kyle Del Gregory, 31, of Valley Center, was identified as the suspect and was arrested Gregory at the scene of the shooting, San Diego County Sheriff's Department Lt. Joseph Jarjura said.
At approximately 1 p.m. Friday afternoon, officers responded to the 7500 block of Mendoza Road, about a half-mile northeast of Harrah's Resort Southern California, where a suspect, later identified as Gregory, allegedly opened fire on the 46-year-old victim, according to the department.

Paramedics airlifted the wounded man to a hospital, where he was admitted in undisclosed condition.
Authorities have disclosed no suspected motive for the alleged firearm assault.

Gregory, who was on probation at the time of his arrest, was being held at San Diego Central Jail without bail pending arraignment, scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
