Vine Cottage 'Closed for Good'
Vine Cottage Wine Bar & Kitchen had been open since January 2011 but shut its doors last month.
Vine Cottage Wine Bar and Kitchen at 6062 Lake Murray Blvd. has closed for good.
The restaurant served a mix of Italian food, seafood and domestic and foreign wine, opened in January 2011.
Proprietors could not be reached for comment.

Check back in a couple months, there is a possibility of new ownership. Sorry. Thanks for your support," Vine Cottage posted Aug. 20 on its Facebook page.
However a sign has been posted in the window of the shuttered business that says "CLOSED FOR GOOD. SORRY!"

Customers shared their disappointed on the restaurant's still active Facebook page.
"Horrible to have this gem close...what can we do to get you back????" Terri Hamlin said Friday.
Julianne Counter Pantehis said, "Just moved around the corner from you (a huge selling point for this house) and now I find out you are closed. NOOOOO!"
6062 Lake Murray Blvd. is owned by Murray Square LLC, according to the San Diego County Assessor's Office.
