Acalanes On The List Of Top High Schools and Districts

LAMORINDA, CA — Acalanes Union High School District is one of the best among K-12 districts in California, according to the ranking website Niche.

Rankings on the 2026 Best School Districts in America list were determined by state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, teacher quality, public school district ratings, and other criteria.

The Acalanes Union High School District received an overall grade of A+ on its Niche report card.

Niche also released its best public high schools rankings.

Within the district, Campolindo High School ranked No. 28. and Miramonte High School was No. 45.

Niche said its rankings, now in the 11th year, differ from others that rely almost exclusively on test scores and academic performance in that it also includes input from students, alumni and parents, as well as quantitative data from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education to evaluate teachers, resources and facilities.
