BBQ Masters Go Head-To-Head For Moraga Schools At Rib Throwdown
Families, friends, neighbors, and local businesses dig in Saturday for culinary showdown with a community spirit.
MORAGA, CA — Local barbecue chefs and fans are getting ready to put their appetites to the test Saturday at the Moraga Rib Throwdown fundraiser for local schools — and the invitation to join them is still open.
The proceeds will go to the Moraga Education Foundation, supporting five public schools, including elementary schools Camino Pablo, Los Perales, and Donald L. Rheem, as well as Jaoquin Moraga Intermediate, and Campolindo High School.
Self-described "food freak" and product developer, Jon Ruiz, will host the event. Sharing is encouraged, and the event is open to everyone.
