Campolindo High Boys, Girls Win League Titles In Cross Country
The Cougars' Brighie Leach and Aidan Goltra win individual races

Campolindo High won both the girls and boys divisions in the Diablo Foothill Athletic League cross country championships on Saturday.
The Cougar boys had the low score of 38 in the 2.95-mile race at Shadow Cliffs Recreational Area in Pleasanton, according to a story in the Contra Costa Times.
Miramonte High was second with a total of 58 and Acalanes High was fourth with 89.
The Cougar girls had the low score of 21 while Miramonte was fourth with 90. Acalanes' team score was listed as incomplete, the Times reported.
Campolindo senior Aidan Goltra was the boys race with a time of 14:48, 28 seconds ahead of second place finisher Cameron Gaskell of Acalanes. Goltra is the defending Division III state champion.
Campolindo junior Brighie Leach won the girls' race with a time of 17:33, 18 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. Leach has won the DFAL race two years in a row now.
