High School Football: Campolindo, Acalanes Both Win

Campolindo High's football kept its winning streak going Friday night while Acalanes High halted its losing skid.

Campolindo defeated Las Lomas High, 35-20, to keep itself on top of the Diablo Foothill Athletic League standings.

The Cougars are now 7-0 this season and 3-0 in league play. Las Lomas fell to 5-3 overall and 3-1 in league play.

Campolindo plays Alhambra High at home next Friday night.

Meanwhile, Acalanes High defeated Dougherty Valley High, 42-28.

The Dons improved to 5-3 overall and 1-3 in league play. They had lost three straight games before Friday night's victory.

Dougherty Valley dropped to 4-3 overall and 1-2 in league play.

Acalanes plays Dublin High School in Dublin next Friday night.

Miramonte High was idle this week. The Matadors play Dougherty Valley in San Ramon next Friday.
