Orinda police reported there were three residential burglaries last week.
One was in the 600 block of Ironbark, another was in the 100 block of Scenic and the third was in the 10 block of Orchard.
Officers also reported three auto burglaries in the parking lot near Casa Orinda.
The theft of some mail was also reported on the 10 block of Orinda View.
Police continue to ask Orinda residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious people or vehicles.
Last week, a homeowner reported that a man knocked on his door and asked for directions to the freeway.
The homeowner alerted police, giving them a description of the man and his vehicle.
An officer stopped the car, which had three occupants. All were from San Francisco and could not give a legitimate reason for being in Orinda. They were also in possession of gloves and a device to break windows.
