On Saturday, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., people can safely drop their unused medications off at the parking lot of the Marin Veterans Memorial Auditorium at the Marin Civic Center and at the Mill Valley Public Safety Building. In addition to unused medications, the Marin Civic Center will also accept a variety of other waste, including E-waste, paper shredding and mercury thermometers. The Marin Center event is co-sponsored by Supervisor Susan Adams, the Marin County Sheriff, Marin County Environmental Health Services, Marin Sanitary Service, Marin Computer Resource Center, and the Las Gallinas Valley Sanitary District.
