Have You Voted Yet?

Slow start to the ballot-counting process, but action should pick up tonight.

Voters strolled into the Corte Madera Recreation Center one by one to register their votes early Tuesday. Election workers had counted 272 ballots by 2:30 p.m. at the Rec Center, one of two polling places in Corte Madera. The other is at Aegis of Corte Madera. Polling sites are open until 8 p.m.

Corte Madera voters had three Town Council candidates to choose from: Mayor Alexandra Cock, Vice-Mayor Bob Ravasio and former councilmember Melissa Gill. Voters were also asked to decide on Measure A, which would help raise funds for the Larkspur-Corte Madera School District; Measure B for the Tamalpais School District; and Measure C to continue local paramedic services.

There were also four seats up for grabs in the Marin Community College District race.
