Judge Increases Bail for Greenbrae Bank Robber
Thomas Hobson is expected to enter a plea next week after he was arrested for robbing the Wells Fargo branch at Bon Air on Saturday.

Thomas Hobson is scheduled to appear in Marin County Superior Court next week to enter a plea after being charged with robbing and threatening to blow up the Wells Fargo Bank branch at the Bon Air Shopping Center on Saturday.
A judge Wednesday increased Hobson's bail from $75,000 to $350,000, according to a report from the Marin IJ.
The Central Marin Police responded to several panic alarms from inside the bank on Saturday afternoon. According to police reports, "A bank employee also called to report that a robbery was in progress. The bank employee later told dispatch that the suspect demanded money and placed a gummy substance on the teller counter which he told them was a bomb that would explode in five minutes."
