Just A Few Things To Do Before Turkey Day

TUESDAY
No events scheduled. Scheduled planning commission meetings in Larkspur and Corte Madera were cancelled.

WEDNESDAY
• The Larkspur City Council still has a little business to take care of before the Thanksgiving holiday. The council will meet in a special closed session meeting Wednesday in a labor negotiation with the Larkspur Firefighters. There will be time for public comment on other matters before the council goes into closed session.

• The Larkspur Walkers, sponsored by the City of Larkspur's Recreation Department, welcome you to join them on walks that start and finish at Piper Park.

• The San Rafael Elks Lodge #1108 invites all children who live or attend schools in Marin County to compete in a National Essay Contest. There is no cost to enter the competition.  Participation awards will be distributed and monetary prizes for winners.

• Take the kids for some holiday fun and take a break during the holiday shopping crush with story time at Barnes & Noble at the Corte Madera Town Center at 11 a.m.
