Marin CHP Offers Free Child Safety Seat Check Up Event

CORTE MADERA, CA. – Proper installation of a child safety seat is critical to your child's safety. To assist in keeping your children safe, the CHP's Marin Area Office will host a Child Safety Seat Inspection Event on Monday, September 19, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the Marin Area CHP office, located at 53 San Clemente Drive in Corte Madera. Officers will be available to inspect car seats for proper installation as well as possible defects or recalls, and to provide the public with information regarding safety and state laws. This is a free event. We request that you R.S.V.P. to the Marin Area Office to schedule a time slot for the Child Safety Seat Inspection Event. R.S.V.P. to (415) 924-1100.
