Redwood Girls Swimmers Claim Title
Freshman Emma McCarthy and her teammates are focusing on glory at the North Coast Section meet this week.
The Redwood High School girls aren't ready to get out of the pool just yet.
After celebrating their ninth consecutive Marin County Athletic League title on Saturday, the Redwood girls are now looking forward to the North Coast Section swimming championship.
Redwood freshman Emma McCarthy, who won the 200 freestyle and was second in the 500 free, is setting the pace for the Giants. Teammate Ariana Traub is also in the NCS hunt, according to the Marin IJ.

The NCS competiton is May 17-19 at the Concord Community Pool.
