Larkspur is celebrating the Memorial Day weekend and the unofficial start of summer with one of the biggest parties of the year. The Larkspur Flower and Food Festival will take over Magnolia Avenue on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

There will be a salsa tasting and competition and real salsa music on the main stage with the Cuban music of Tito Gonzales. The festival will feature flower related arts and crafts to buy. Fun kids activities will be sponsored by the Twin Cities Co-Op and dancing in the streets for all ages to the San Francisco Music Club and The Doc Kraft Band.
