Weekend Planner: Mad Fun In Corte Madera

It's a raucous good time this weekend, with the Mad Maggies, Don Giovanni and the Marin County Fair.

Come groove to the sounds of the Mad Maggies, a popular group of musicians from the San Francisco Bay Area whose music has been described as “roots-driven, world rock, rowdy folk fusion." Their slogan: “Hard to describe, easy to love.”

This free Summer Concert, sponsored by the Corte Madera Community Foundation, will be on Sunday, July 1, from 5 to 6 p.m., at Piccolo Pavilion in Old Corte Madera Square, the little park at the bottom of the hill where Tamalpais Drive meets Corte Madera Avenue.

The Summer Concert Series goes from June 17-August 26. For information about the other bands performing this season, go to www.CorteMaderaCommunityFoundation.org.
