Moms want to have fun, too, so why not take her out for a beer and burger for Mother's Day?

Ditching the more traditional and formal Mother's Day brunch concepts, readers say they'd rather celebrate at Marin Brewing Company on Sunday, May 13.

"Moms in Marin would probably want a thirst-quenching fruit beer and a healthy salad … or a burger," Marin Brewing Company general manager Jennifer Procopio said.

In addition to the regular menu of house brews, Marin BrewCo's wizards will debut a fruit beer for Mother's Day.

The forecast calls for warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine, so pull up a seat on the patio and enjoy.

The Tavern at Lark Creek is celebrating Mother’s Day with brunch offerings ranging from the classic Eggs Benedict with black Forrest ham, arugula, muffin, skillet potatoes and hollandaise sauce to a more adventurous Wagyu Steak Meatloaf, served wrapped in bacon, with a side of grilled asparagus and garlic smashed potatoes.
