San Diego County Library is teaming up with the Housing Opportunities Collaborative to offer "Keeping the Dream Alive" homebuyer workshops this year.
The next workshop is taking place from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at the Lemon Grove Branch, 3001 School Lane.
Walk-ins are welcome, but registration is recommended by emailing your name, address, and telephone number to RSVP@housingcollaborative.org.
Keeping the Dream Alive will include information on preparing for homeownership, how to prequalify for a loan, managing finances, understanding credit, identifying a home buying team, down payment and closing cost assistance, and HUD-approved counseling services.
This workshop is designed to benefit all homebuyers, whether you're buying your first home, are a repeat buyer, or are buying a home after experiencing a foreclosure.
