Hooray For the Red, White and Blue! Celebrate July 4th in Lemon Grove
The Stars and Stripes—and breakfast to boot!
A local church is inviting the community to an Independence Day celebration with plenty of patriotic fun for the family.
The Fourth of July party features a flag raising ceremony, the Pledge of Allegiance, and singing the national anthem and "God Bless America." A hearty pancake breakfast will follow.
The festivities begin at 8 a.m. July 4 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 8472 Blossom Lane, Lemon Grove.
"Everything is free, so come and join in the fun," Bishop Lewis Zollinger said in an e-mail to Patch.
