CityServe of the Tri-Valley: CityServe is a social services agency whose goal is to “take the guesswork out of the human services maze” with the ultimate goal of placing people in need on a path toward “stability and sustainability.” Care coordinators, volunteers, and health educators work with people in need to help them access available services, learn about resources specific to their situation, and work together to make an achievable plan with the help of vetted local resources. To date, they have served 5,027 people with the help of over 137 service partners, and in 2022 alone answered 5,483 crisis calls. CityServe has a Homeless Services division that helps unhoused individuals navigate housing, employment, mental health and addiction programs, temporary financial assistance, and more. These services are available in their Livermore office, and at different locations in the area throughout the week. They also host similar care support services for seniors, senior caregivers, and families in crisis. Visit their website to learn about volunteering or donating.
