Five can't-miss activities in Livermore, plus the best from around the valleys, are organized right here all in one place. So make the most of all that is offered this spring, and mark your calendar!
Livermore Spring Bucket List
- Go wine tasting around Livermore Valley Wine Country. Bent Creek Winery offers (dog friendly!) tasting reservations.
- Find snacks at the Livermore Farmers Market on Sundays year-round and on Thursdays from April 14 to Oct. 13.
- Plant trees for Earth Day at Del Valle on April 23. Registration required.
- Take a Hike for Hope 2022 on May 14. Registration required.
- Enjoy the Downtown Street Fest, May 14 and 15.
Around The Tri-Valley Area
Pleasanton
- Go camping at the Fairpark RV Campground, which features all the necessary amenities.
- Picnic, fish, bird-watch, look for special wildflowers and do more at Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area.
- Take part in First Weekends on Main, which returns May 6 to 8 and repeats the first weekend of every month.
- Buy your local produce, handcrafted goods and more at the Pleasanton Farmers Market every Saturday year-round.
Dublin
- Eat hot meals from vendors while you shop for baked goods, pasta, local produce and more at the Dublin Farmers Market on Thursdays from April 7 to Sept. 29.
- Check out the public art displays around town, both city-owned and privately owned.
- Apply to paint a city utility box by April 22.
- Or just go on a scavenger hunt to spot all of the fun boxes.
- Volunteer during Dublin Pride week, which includes the following things to do.
- Lend a hand on Dublin Pride Volunteer Day on April 23. Registration required.
- Participate in the Plogging Challenge from April 23 to 30. Registration required by April 20.
- Combine a picnic with a movie at Dublin's monthly Picnic Flix in the park, starting June 17.
San Ramon
- Support local farmers at the San Ramon Farmers Market, Saturdays at City Center Bishop Ranch.
- Help with trail maintenance on Earth Day at Bishop Ranch Regional Preserve, April 23. Registration required.
- Visit Forest Home Farms for Sheepshearing Day on April 23.
- Enjoy the Art and Wind Festival, May 29 and 30. It's pet, bike and family friendly!
- Watch Live Chalk Art at City Center Bishop Ranch on select Sundays, May 15, June 26, July 31 and Aug. 28.
Danville
- Replenish your groceries at the Danville Farmers Market on Saturdays year-round.
- Visit Mount Diablo State Park for a picnic, hike or bike ride or to look at the special wildflowers.
- Paint the town red at the Spring Sip and Stroll on April 14.
- Help the community's seniors on Lend A Hand Day, April 23.
