800 Cars Coming To Livermore For Nostalgia Car Day

Enjoy muscle cars, classic rods, and vintage cars in downtown Livermore this weekend. Proceeds will go to charity.

LIVERMORE, CA — About 800 beautiful cars are descending upon Livermore Sunday for the the 36th annual Nostalgia Day Car Show.

The show is hosted by the Altamont Cruisers, and over the years has raised nearly $1 million to support local charities. In 2024, funds from the show were donated to local schools, police departments, and homeless charities, including Assistance League of Amador Valley, Open Heart Kitchen, the Livermore High School basketball program, the Livermore Police Department, the Livermore K9 Foundation, the Pleasanton Police Officers Association, Tri-Valley Haven, and many more.

Visitors are also asked to bring a clean blanket or coat for those in need as part of Operation Anti-Freeze. Those who do will receive a free raffle ticket.

The event will run from 9-4 on Sunday along First Street. Guests will enjoy muscle cars, old-school street rods, custom and classic cars (including a 1954 Chevrolet Cruiser from the Livermore Police Department), and food and music. At the Parade of Champions, award-winning cars will drive down First Street to receive their awards.

  • Second St from S. Livermore Ave to S. L St
  • Third St from S. Livermore Ave to S. L St
  • S. Livermore Ave between Railroad Ave and Second St
  • Side streets intersecting the closures

The farmer's market will still take place on Second Street between L and N streets.
