LIVERMORE, CA — Firefighters contained two fires that ignited on eastbound Interstate 580 in Livermore Tuesday morning, Cal Fire said just after 1 p.m.
The first fire was off North Flynn Road. The second was off the I-580/Highway 205 split, CHP said.
Lanes were closed on the interstate and traffic was backed up for a couple of hours.
