Kitten On 580 Rescued By CHP Officer

The kitten is now at the East County Animal Shelter.

LIVERMORE, CA - A CHP officer rescued a kitten running along westbound I-580, west of North Livermore Avenue, CHP Dublin tweeted Tuesday.

CHP Officer Piccinini chased the kitten until it found a place to rest in a crevice on the freeway wall, according to the tweet. Alameda County Animal Country arrived and took the kitten to the East County Animal Shelter.
