Conquer Stress, Anxiety In Meditation Zoom With Livermore Library

Meditation practitioner and lecturer Arvind Naik will teach a simple technique to help relieve stress and anxiety.

LIVERMORE, CA — The Livermore Public Library wants to help people in the community who are feeling stressed and anxious.

A meditation program, hosted by the library via Zoom, is coming up in April.

Meditation practitioner and lecturer Arvind Naik will teach a simple technique to help relieve stress and anxiety. A short meditation sitting is included, the library said.

“In these programs, Naik explores how meditation can help individuals develop physically, mentally, and spiritually. Naik has led a meditation program at Target and regularly speaks at libraries and community centers across the country,” the library said.

Most recently, Naik spoke at Boston Scientific, introducing meditation as a tool for stress reduction in the workplace.

The library's ‘Overcoming Stress and Anxiety Using Meditation’ program is at 7:00 p.m on April 12.
