Cops Bust Package Thief, Make Arrests In Other Thefts: Livermore Police

Officers responded to a Ring alert and arrested a person connected to multiple package thefts, police said.

LIVERMORE, CA — Officers in Livermore recently arrested a person tied to multiple package thefts, as well as others connected with thefts in the area, police said.

Over the past two weeks, officers responded to the following theft-related incidents, according to police:

  • Officers arrested a person on Sunday after a victim was chased over a mile in connection with a laptop theft at a gas station on Catalina Drive.
  • Officers arrested a person on Jan. 1 on outstanding warrants who was tied to a San Ramon theft, recovering stolen high-end alcohol.
  • Officers responded Dec. 27 to a Ring alert and arrested a person connected to multiple package thefts, returning stolen property to victims.
  • Officers recovered a stolen e-bike on Dec. 23 and returned it to its owner.

“These incidents highlight the continued efforts of Livermore Police to identify suspects, recover stolen property, and keep our neighborhoods safe,” police said Tuesday in a social media post. “Thank you to our community members who remain vigilant.”
