Overturned Big Rig Blocks Onramp To I-580 In Livermore

Drivers were warned to expect delays for an unknown duration.

LIVERMORE, CA — An overturned big rig was blocking an onramp to I-580 on Tuesday morning, an incident which was likely to delay the flow of traffic, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The semi-truck overturned on the Southfront on-ramp to Eastbound I-580 around 8:30 a.m., the CHP said. Drivers are urged to use Vasco Road as an alternative on-ramp.

The crash is likely to cause delays for an unknown period of time, the CHP said.

The cause of the crash has not been disclosed and no injuries have been reported publicly as of 8:47 a.m.
