Curbside Clothes Recycling Returns Next Week In Livermore
The first week of the year offers residents an easy way to donate used clothes, towels and other textiles from the comfort of their home.
LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore Sanitation will pick up household textiles for recycling next week, giving residents a convenient way to donate their used clothes, towels and sheets.
The program runs the first week of January, April, July and October, collecting items for a good cause and helping neighbors clear out some space each season. The next pickups will take place on residents' normal collection days next week, starting Monday.
The city asks that all textiles be clean, placed neatly into a clear bag and set next to the recycling cart before their normal trash pickup time. The items collected will be distributed to local charities.
