Lab Fire Contained: Watch Duty
A grass fire broke out around 1 p.m. Monday on Greenville Road and Patterson Pass Road.
LIVERMORE, CA — Firefighters are conducting mop-up on a five-acre grass fire thatbroke out on Greenville Road near Patterson Pass Road in Livermore, close to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
The Lab Fire broke out around 1 p.m. and spread to five acres, according to the Watch Duty app. However, as of 2:11 p.m., reporter Anthony Goblirsch noted on Watch Duty that firefighters were conducting mop-up, and Incident Command cancelled all incoming CalFire resources.
Patch is awaiting further information from the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department.
