Firefighters Extinguish Downtown Blaze

A vacant home's shed caught on fire Tuesday.

Firefighters on Tuesday extinguished a small blaze in the downtown area.

At around 6:35 p.m. emergency crews were sent to the area of First and O streets for a report of a structure fire. When firefighters arrived on scene they found a vacant home's shed and back fence engulfed in flames.

The fire was extinguished by 6:45 p.m. and no injuries were reported, officials said.
