Free Car Seat Checkup Scheduled In Livermore

The police department and CHP are offering an extra hand in making sure your child is safe.

LIVERMORE, CA — You can never be too safe when it comes to protecting your child.

The Livermore Police Department and California Highway Patrol are offering a little extra peace of mind by hosting a free car seat checkup event on April 29.

Parents can stop by the police department at 1110 South Livermore Avenue anytime from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Inspections will be done in the parking lot.

CHP will check for old, broken and recalled seats and make sure they are installed properly.

Children must be with their parent for proper fitting.
