Hail Hits Livermore Thursday, More Rain To Come

LIVEMORE, CA —Well this isn't something you see every day in Livermore. Hail and big drops of rain fell on the city Thursday afternoon.
Residents took to social media to share the somewhat rare occurrence.
One person posted hail in a backyard and talked about how big the raindrops were. Another showed the pellets hitting down on a table Thursday morning.

The National Weather Service predicts the possibility of rain and thunderstorms into the night Thursday with wind gusts possibly reaching 20 miles per hour.
Two storm systems were predicted to bring abnormal rain to the Bay Area this week and cold fronts hit most of the North Bay Monday night.
