Have A 'Blind Date With A Book' & Celebrate National Library Week

The Livermore Public Library has a unique program for 2022's National Library Week coming up in April.

LIVERMORE, CA —The Livermore Public Library has a unique opportunity to celebrate National Library Week, April 3 through April 9.

The Blind Date with a Book program offers a display of books that are wrapped, hiding their identities. Its purpose is to encourage people to read outside of their comfort zone and discover new favorites, the library said.

Staff notes, clues and descriptors are the only things on the covers, giving hints to participants but nothing more.
