2 Injured In Livermore Helicopter Crash

The crash happened at a PG&E training facility Wedneday morning.

LIVERMORE, CA — Minor injuries were reported after a helicopter crash Wednesday morning in Livermore.

The crash happened off National Drive just before 10 a.m. The contractor helicopter performing training went down in a PG&E-owned parking lot adjacent to training poles for the PG&E Livermore Electric Safety Academy, PG&E spokesperson Tamar Sarkissian said.

Two people were inside the helicopter when it crashed, Sarkissian said. Both were transported to area hospitals.

The helicopter was a Bell 407. No property damage was reported.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will be investigating. The NTSB will be leading the investigation.
