Livermore Crash Victim Meets Firefighters Who Rescued Him

Some Livermore-Pleasanton firefighters recently received a very special visit from a member of the community.

LIVERMORE, CA -- Some local firefighters recently received a very special visit from a member of the community.

A few months ago, Sal Barbalinardo was involved in a vehicle accident in unincorporated Livermore. After sustaining multiple injuries, he spent the last few months recovering in the hospital.

Members assigned to T96 were one of the many units that responded to help Barbalinardo and other crash victims that day.

Recently, Sal’s brothers Joe and Vinny brought Sal to meet with the crew. Vinny happens to be a member of Local 1689 Fremont Firefighters.
